Renewal and Reviving...
We have become tainted and wearied by the world, more than we realize. This has hindered and hurt us in getting out the salvation message of Christ. Wordsmyth Ministries is working to bring reviving in churches through renewal of thinking. Hebrews 12:1, 2; Romans 12:1, 2
"I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice. And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God, And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day. And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage." - Ezra 9:4c-8

Wordsmyth Ministries under the influence and direction of the Holy Spirit, using THE preserved Word of God, and with a commitment to seek God’s face, is striving to nurture revival in Bible believing churches. It is our desire for God’s people to once again make God’s righteousness and His right to glory the purpose for their lives, for which they were saved. We were and are created to bring Him pleasure, both now and for eternity. Are we fulfilling our purpose?
Wordsmyth Ministries is committed to work in the same manner and with the same type of principles as a blacksmith which has a purpose to take tools designed for the job he is given, of heating and softening hardened steel and metals by way of the fire, and then hammering them upon the anvil and reshaping steel into useful and useable items.
We are committed to take the Word of God, the privilege of prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, as God grants us favor, and use these tools to work to bring God’s people back into harmony with God. To show them that the fire of trials and tribulation are significant and necessary in the lives of each and every believer, so that we are reshaped into useful and useable, Christ-like Christians, who are yielded to God. Our desire to please God, will be evident as we do the will and work of God to the fullest.
Wordsmyth Ministries is working to bring this Christ-like reviving to Bible believing individuals in Bible believing churches so that once churches are revived, and spirit-filled, they can evangelize their community more effectively and efficiently. Through a process of reviving, man will be brought back into harmony with God again. Then the light will be bright and the power will be strong in the individual, and therefore in the church. God's church will thrive as it should.
Wordsmyth Ministries is working to nurture a Christ like spirit in our churches. We have more turmoil, division, discord and divisiveness in our churches because we are not Christ-like and spirit-filled as we should be. We spend our time fighting amongst ourselves instead of fighting the true enemy, so that we might see more souls saved and lives changed. We must rescue the perishing instead of reviling the preserved.
Wordsmyth Ministries is working to renew the mind of the believer, correct carnal thinking and help nurture spiritual and biblical thinking in God’s people. This will make God’s people more effective and efficient in the cause of Christ and therefore more useful and useable by God. We shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free from all bondage, weights and besetting sins that hold us, hinder us and distract us from His purpose for our lives. Much of our purpose is set forth in two passages of scripture, where we are to look to Christ, set aside this world and the sin that keeps us bound.
Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
