Pastor
Giovanelli was born in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho and at the age of five
moved, with his family, to Rohnert Park, California. He was called to
preach during the summer of 1994 and attended Bible College in the fall
of 1995. He graduated from Bible college in May of 2000 and was married
to Sarah [Knight] Giovanelli on May 27 th, 2000. He became Youth Pastor
for Hopewell Baptist Church in Napa, California under the leadership of
Pastor Mike Ray. In 2002 the Lord led he and his family to Manteca,
California where he became the Associate Pastor at Central Valley
Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Linder. It was during the summer of
2003 that the Lord began to work on his heart about pastoring. During a
summer revival with Dr. Randy Taylor he heard about Calvary Baptist
Church in Baltimore, Maryland. After much prayer and counsel he and his
wife flew to Baltimore to meet the people of the Calvary Baptist
Church. On October 26 th, 2003 the church called Cameron Giovanelli to
be their pastor. Pastor Giovanelli and his family arrived in Baltimore
on November 25 th, 2003. |
